         <description><![CDATA[<p>Brecht also wrote: "He who laughs has not yet heard the news."  We need to mourn the lives of those who have died in Iraq, and at the same time do what we can to prevent a "surge" in new deaths, Iraqi and US.  The longer we wait, the more people will die in a war that has a meaning very different from the one it has been given.</p>]]></description>
