         <description><![CDATA[<p>Vickie, you left me momentarily speechless. Thank you so much for your very kind words. I am so grateful to you for taking the ideas I played out in my post and riffing on them, bringing them to a whole new level of insight. </p>

<p>It's not that I oppose formal credentialing; I share many of the concerns that proponents of certification have raised. It's just that I think we need to be asking the right questions, grounded on reason, regardless of where we ultimately end up. Thanks for bringing your usual common sense to the debate, Vickie.</p>
